Target Clients: Adults 18+

Group Description: 

A psychoeducation, skills training class focused on exploring Mindfulness through a set of clear skills, with well-defined concepts and instructions for practice using the DBT Skills Training Handouts and Worksheets (2025revised edition)In addition, participants will learn how to be mindful of their nervous system through psychoeducation on the autonomic nervous system and the Polyvagal Theory. There will be inclusion of short meditation and breathing practices to center and settle at the start of each group meeting. Personal reflection and practice is encouraged each week to assist group members in learning and assimilating the skills into their daily lives. Our focus will be on reconnecting with our inner wisdom while we learn to notice and listen without judgement.
